The Bauchi State Bureau of Information and Communication Technology (BICT) has donated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment to the Bauchi Radio Corporation (BRC) to enhance its technological capacity and improve operational efficiency.
The donation is aimed at strengthening the operations of the state-owned media organization, enabling it to deliver quality broadcasting services more effectively.
According to the DG Bureau, Hayatuddeen Babamaji, representative by Acting Director in the agency Ismail Garba Bala, BRC was selected as a beneficiary in recognition of its significant contribution to informing, educating, and promoting the development of society across Bauchi State.
The donated equipmentB includes brand-new laptop computer, desktop computer sets, and printers, all intended to support the corporation’s daily operations.
Receiving the items, the Managing Director of Bauchi Radio Corporation, Umar Muhammad Shira, expressed profound appreciation to the Bureau for the timely intervention.
He described the donation as a historic gesture that the corporation had long awaited, noting that the equipment would greatly complement the efforts of BRC in fulfilling its mandate of serving the people of Bauchi State more efficiently and effectively.
