Giade Students Association has announced plan to commence the distribution of learning materials to selected schools children in the local government area
According press statement signed by the national president of Giade students union, Comrade Abdulkadir Yusuf Baba, the Union is rolling out the support Programme in collaboration with Giade Youth Forum as a deliberate measure to address the problem of out of school phenomenon in the area.
The statement said package of the intervention include distribution of School Uniforms and Exercise Books to Vulnerable and Orphan Children in Giade Community.
According to the release, the distribution which commenced lady Monday will.last throughout the week with at least four school being targeted everyday.
Schools earmarked to benefit from the initiative are
. Central Primary Giade, Sarki-Sabiya Pri. Sch. Govt Junior Sch. (Central), Govt. Girls Junior School,
Day Pri. School, Babbaji Kafi Pri. School, among others.
Comrade Abdulkadir Yusuf said, the initiative reflects the union’s commitment to supporting education and uplifting the lives of some vulnerable children in the community stressing that, every child deserves the opportunity to access education as the project aims to reduce some barriers students and school children face.
