The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, has approved a minor change in the composition of the State Executive Council.
Consequently, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, has been relieved of his appointment with immediate effect.
In a press release signed by the
Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor Alhaji Mukhtar Gidado said, the decision reaffirms the administration’s resolve to periodically review the composition of the cabinet in order to inject fresh ideas, strengthen governance, reposition the executive for enhanced service delivery, and ensure the effective implementation of government policies and programmes across Bauchi State.
Governor Bala Muhammad has expressed his deep appreciation to Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima for his contributions and services to the state and wished him success in his future endeavours.
The Governor further reassures the people of Bauchi State of his administration’s unwavering commitment to peace, security, and good governance.
A replacement for the vacant position will be announced in due course.
