Bauchi Pilgrims Board Boss Sympathizes with Hajj Sufi Over Fire Accident, Urges Caution with Generators.

The Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Imam Abdulrahman Ibrahim Idris, has extended his heartfelt sympathy to Alhaji Mustapha Hajj Sufi following a fire accident involving a generator, which left him with burns on his face and parts of his body.

Imam Abdulrahman described Hajj Sufi as a dedicated and experienced individual who played a vital role in sensitizing the people of Bauchi State about the 2025 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

He expressed sadness that the unfortunate incident occurred just a day after Hajj Sufi returned from Mecca, at a time when his family and well-wishers were celebrating his safe return.

The Executive Secretary used the opportunity to advise the public to exercise caution when refueling generators, emphasized the importance of always switching off the engine before adding petrol to prevent similar accidents.

Imam Ibrahim Idris noted that the incident serves as a reminder that no one can escape the will of Almighty Allah. He offered prayers for Hajj Sufi’s speedy recovery and healing.
